Carving wood is one of the most relaxing activities that I have ever tried. It is as if something related to the contact with wood helped to dispel strain. The only bad thing about carving is that it is not as clean as other activities: it is not compatible with lying on the couch watching a film.
These pendants are carved by hand with a knife and natural oil finished. They represent one of these shapes that are a part of our social imaginary: wale tails. In the cultures where it is (or was) a meaningful symbol, like the Maori, the wale tail stands for strenght, loyalty and sensitivity. Both pendants are still available; if you are interested in purchasing any of them, just send us an e-mail and we will come to an agreement :)
